How old do I have to be to be a Divemaster?

You must be 18 years old to start your divemaster training. If you can’t wait then ask us about the Junior Divemaster qualification.

Do I need a medical for my Divemaster course?

Yes, you must have a medical signed by a doctor before any in water training. The easiest way to sort this is to contact the DDRC for a phone medical.

Do I need to be fit?

As a dive professional it is important to keep physically fit, but you don’t have to be an olympian. If you can swim 400m you should be ok for the Divemaster course.
