Moving to another date

Call us on 01733 351288 or email pauline@divein.co.uk at least 48 hours before your course starts. For a course that runs over several days, that means 48 hours before the first day. We will move you to another date of the same course that has places, at no charge.

People booked together are on one booking. If only some of you need to move, call us and we will sort it out.

Less than 48 hours' notice

If you tell us less than 48 hours before your course starts, or you do not come, you lose your place. We cannot refund what you have paid or move you to another date.

Why there is no 14-day cooling-off period

When you buy something online you can usually cancel within 14 days. That right does not apply to leisure services booked for a particular date, which is what our courses and dive experiences are (regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). The booking page tells you this before you book.

If we cancel

Sometimes we have to cancel a date, for example because of the weather or the water conditions. If we do, we will contact you and offer you another date of the same course or a refund.

If your course includes PADI eLearning and you have already been given it, we cannot refund that part. If you choose a refund, we will tell you how much the eLearning is, at PADI's own online price, and refund the rest.

How refunds are paid

A card payment is refunded to the card you paid with. It usually reaches your account within a few working days, though some banks take longer. If you paid in cash at the centre, we will arrange the refund with you.

Trips

You can book a trip, such as the Farne Islands, online or by phone. Each trip's description says what you pay and when, including any deposit.

If you cancel a trip, we cannot refund what you have paid, including any deposit. If we cancel a trip, you get a refund, unless the trip's description says otherwise.

Your legal rights

None of this affects your legal rights, for example if a course is not provided with reasonable care and skill. This policy is part of our terms and conditions.
